What is ÂJeeva Poonga all about?

Filmmaker Rasi Azhagappan, an associate of Kamal Haasan, is wielding the megaphone for ÂJeeva PoongaÂ. It features actor-director Tharun Gopi and ÂPeranmaiÂ- fame Saranya in lead roles.
Rasi Azhagappan had directed ÂVannathupoochiÂ, a movie that was set on a child yearning for love and care from her parents. On ÂJeeva PoongaÂ, he says, ÂBe it a child and or an adult, the need to shower love and affection is same. This is going to be the message of. ÂJeeva PoongaÂ.Â
He adds: ÂIt is not a regular mainstream masala movie but does not preach either. People expect a lot from me after ÂVannathupoochi and I want to live up to their expectationsÂ.
On choosing Tharun Gopi for the lead, he says, ÂHe impressed me with his performance in ÂMayandi KudumbathaarÂ. He resembles the boy next door. Meanwhile, Saranya is apt for the character-role. Srikanth Deva is scoring the music.Â
